SEAHAWK FANS JUST PLAIN WRONG

CONTROVERSY: Even Mike Holmgrn took shots at the NFL refs after Superbowl XL. Many Seahawk fans believe that the fix was in as the referees made crucial calls that went in favor of the Steelers. But I am not a believer in this conspiracy...and I am from Seattle.

SEAHAWK FAN CLAIM #1: The Seahawks first touchdown was called pass interference by a referee whose native city is Pittsburgh.

COACH CONTROVERY SAYS: It was a push off. So what if there have been other more blatant push offs that were not called. A push off is a push off and you can clearly see that the defender moves backwards. Jackson got an advantage and that is a penalty. So what that the ref is a native of Pittsburgh. He made the right call. Now you may agrue that he shouldn't be officiating the game at all and I agree, but he made the right call...this is NOT a conspiracy.

SEAHAWK FAN CLAIM #2: Ben Rothlesberger did not get into the endzone on a qb keep. His shoulder hit the ground before the ball crossed the line. The play went to replay and was not overturned. The refs fixed the game.

COACH CONTROVERY SAYS: They were going to score anyway. It was only 3rd down when this happened. Cohwer can be heard stating that either way they were going to go for it. No way the hawks were going to keep the Steelers out of the endzone replay or no replay. Two words for you Jerome Bettis...need i say more.
